I thought Delhi traffic was bad until I experienced Kolkata and even that was tame compared to Chennai but Pune redefines the meaning of traffic. Clean, Bullock cart free streets give reign to a relentless surge of motorcycles, cars and autorickshaws belting hell for leather to I know not where. This makes crossing the road in Pune one of the scariest experiences I have ever encountered.
I'm not here in
Pune as a destination of choice rather as a passing through place on my way to Nashik and frankly I don't rate it very highly except for the breakfast spot I discovered yesterday which could have been in Barcelona except omelette 3 rolls toast butter and coffee would cost a lot more than 0.90 pence.
